Finding The Aphasia Center was the best decision she made, after a lot of research and second-guessing previous choices. She learned her prior communication methods were “completely wrong” and now integrates therapy into daily life. Olivia has gained confidence, is able to follow and join conversations, and loves the center because there are no worksheets, but a focus on talking and communication.
Kathy shares a recent breakthrough where Olivia engaged in a back-and-forth conversation with her brother on FaceTime, a significant step that left both Kathy and Olivia’s brother “stunned.” Kathy is hopeful for Olivia’s future, planning to continue with online and home therapy, and “110%” recommends the center to others.
